COVID-19

Please note that due to government guidance regarding COVID-19 we have taken the decision to change the way we deliver services.

PEER SUPPORT SESSIONS on Wednesdays and Thursdays – CANCELLED for the foreseeable future.
MIND CRAFTS on Fridays – CANCELLED for the foreseeable future.
WRAP group – every Tuesday from 2 pm to 3:30 pm via Zoom app
YOGA – CANCELLED for the foreseeable future.
1 to 1 Confidential Listening service will be delivered via telephone. Please contact us on 01724 279500 to discuss other options if the telephone appointment is not convenient.

The Haven

Crisis prevention mental health support is now available 7 days a week. The Haven is providing telephone support for people over 16 in North Lincolnshire, Monday to Sunday from 6 pm to midnight. Anyone can call us for mental health support on 01724 279500. Please leave a message with your name and contact number as staff are working from home to keep everyone safe. They will be checking the voicemail regularly and will call you back as soon as possible.

We understand it is a very difficult time for people who has MH issues. We are trying our best to continue providing services at the same time keeping our staff and service users safe.

WRAP Group

Our WRAP meetings are held in our Peer Support Centre located at Scunthorpe and District Mind and are facilitated by accredited WRAP trainers. Please contact us to if you are interested in joining in with our WRAP group, a member of staff will book you an appointment, introduce you to Mind and our services to ensure you feel welcomed.

Hearing Voices Support Group

Hearing Voices Support Group for people that live with hearing voices, psychosis or other sensory hallucinations.

This is a place where you can feel safe to talk, share your experiences and learn from each other, create or improve your social support network. Group sessions are very informal and will have a Mind member of staff and Hearing voices network facilitator present.

Please note that this is a monthly group so please call the office to check exact dates.

Health and Well-being

Here at Scunthorpe and District Mind we believe that Health and Well-being is closely linked with good metal health. We are offering our service users different sessions every week. Some of our sessions would include physical activities, some would be focused on healthy eating and other healthy living tips.
